The Chemical Brothers, Snow Patrol, Dermot Kennedy, Amy Macdonald and Tom Odell will perform on Sunday 12.
TRNSMT festival, which didn’t take place last year due to the pandemic, has been pushed back from July to September this year. TRNSMT, originally scheduled for July 9-11, will be held over September 10-12.
The line-up has been subject to change because of the postponement. Since last year’s festival was cancelled, many shows have been rebooked for TRNSMT 2021.
TRNSMT 2021 rescheduled for September
Among the artists, who will perform on Friday 10, there are Courteeners, Ian Brown, Sam Fender and Blossoms. Liam Gallagher will take the stage on Saturday 11, with Primal Screams, Keane, Twin Atlantic, Picture This, Sea Girls, Vistas, Nathan Evans and Becky Hill. The Chemical Brothers, Snow Patrol, Dermot Kennedy, Amy Macdonald and Tom Odell will perform on Sunday 12.
Lewis Capaldi rescheduled attendance to next year’s TRNSMT, as he has decided to cancel his shows for 2021. He explained on Twitter: “I hate the thought of letting anyone down, especially after the year we’ve just had, but I know that, more than anything, getting the album right has to be my number one priority at the moment. I hope you understand.”
In his place will perform The Chemical Brothers, who have been recently added to the line-up like Primal Scream, Dermot Kennedy and Becky Hill.
Geoff Ellis, director of TRNSMT festival, told they hoped the festival to be held in July. Unfortunately the coincidence in time with the planned end of lockdown forced them to push back the festival. September will ensure enough time to organize TRNSMT in respect of any guideline will be in place.
Organisers also assure that tickets already bought will be valid for September.
