Italian fashion: Valentino Haute Couture spring/summer 2011

With this new collection Piccioli e Chiuri, creative directors of Valentino, have delivered a new formula for elegance, going back to the roots of inspiration of Valentino’s couture.
They used a palette of soft browns and delicate beiges, and then added just a bit of red as a homage to Italian couturier Valentino who, as you know, retired from fashion business only a few years ago.

With this romantic collection of Ruffle Floral Chiffon dresses and sophisticated evening gowns, the two designers have restored femininity to fashion’s centre stage.
