WSBK Valencia: Max Biaggi takes QP2 by 0,002s

Max Biaggi took the top spot in highly competitive QP2 session pushing Althea’s Carlos Checa, who dominated most of the session in second by just two thousandths of a second with a last minute run of 1′34.

The field is very tight, less than a second separates provisional pole man Biaggi from Ruben Xaus who finished the session in 18th place.

The Ducati twins continue to dominate the Valencia race track with six bikes in the top ten.
Privateers Jakub Smrz and Shane Byrne were once again behind Checa in third and fourth, while Leon Haslam took fifth position.
Michel Fabrizio and Noriyuki Haga were sixth and seventh again, with Lorenzo Lanzi in eighth.

Sylvain Guintoli jumped forward from yesterday’s QP1 taking the ninth spot with Jonathan Rea closing the top ten.
Out of this afternoon’s Superpole: Matteo Baiocco, Roger Hayden, Simon Andrews, Vittorio Iannuzzo and Roland Resch.
